This harvest festival of eight days is observed by the Angamis of Nagaland. This falls in the last week of the month of November.
The first day is the ceremonial closing of the harvest. The rice-grains are arranged on the second day. The third day is meant for community fishing and the fourth day is for complete rest.
The fifth day is a fishing day. Merriments, sports, games etc. mark the sixth and seventh days. The eight day is the closing of festival.
